Jordan Sandlin is a Charleston based artist and crafter. She graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alabama, where she studied printmaking and painting. After graduating college, she moved to Atlanta and pursued work as a display artist at Anthropologie. In 2007, she became interested in the resurgence of modern crafting and started a side-project called fattycakes handmade. In 2011 she became the Showroom Merchandising Coordinator for an Atlanta tile distributor managing merchandising aspects for 4 high-end tile showrooms across the Southeast. She lives with her husband Jeff (an archaeologist) and their daughter Elem, in West Ashley. She enjoys art, collecting mid-century modern furniture, do-it-yourself projects, and is always on the look out for the next great junk or vintage shop.
